Kelkar Education Trust
Under the aegis of Kelkar Education Trust established in 1979, Shri V.G.Vaze College of Arts, Commerce and Science opened its doors to students in 1984. The College has over 5000 students and is recognized as one of Mumbai's finest educational institutions. In July, 2005 the College launched India's first two years full time Post Graduate Diploma in Perfumery and Cosmetics Management (PGDPCM) to meet the training needs of the industry.
Infrastructure support to Schools in and around our Manufacturing Units
Aligned with the government's focus of improving the dignity of women by providing separate sanitation facility for girls, we have taken up the responsibility to upgrade the educational infrastructure and uplift the sanitation facility at schools and colleges in and around our manufacturing units at Vashivali and Vapi. In yet another endeavor, we are supporting Lions Club, Thane by providing Solar Energy Panel System to Adivasi Ashram School.
Spreading Smiles at Udaan India Foundation
We have partnered with Udaan, an NGO, working with children from low-income communities in Mumbai to give the child a strong and holistic educational foundation to become a responsible, compassionate and confident citizen of tomorrow.
Capacity Building at NASEOH (National Society for Equal Opportunities for Handicapped Children)
We have tied up with NASEOH to support and rehabilitate the differently-abled and develop a world of equal opportunity through vocational training needs by aiding them with computer training courses and supporting them by providing mobility appliances.
Shaping the Future at Shabari Seva Samiti
We partner with Shabari Seva Samiti to provide basic education through Balwadis (pre-school) at 6 centres in rural areas of Karjat and Murbad Dist.
NAMAMI GANGE (Integrated Ganga Conservation Mission)
As a responsible corporate citizen, we also support Government of India's 'Namami Gange' - mission of Ganga Rejuvenation - by contributing to the national effort of improving cleanliness of the river Ganga.
