Keva in collaboration with Sukruta Rural Empowerment Foundation is employing and educating women affected by drought; to pluck and dry Neem seeds that are further cold-pressed to manufacture Neem oil.
In a bid to make education accessible for all, we established the Kelkar Education Trust in 1979. Under its aegis, we set up the Shri Vaze College of Arts, Commerce and Science in Mumbai.
One of the finest educational institutions in the city, the college is also the first in India to offer a full-time 2-year PG Diploma in Perfumery and Cosmetics Management (PGDPCM), and successfully meets the growing needs of the industry.
We believe that access to clean sanitation and education are cornerstones of a civilized society. These assume greater importance in the context of women’s dignity. To that end, we are invested in upgrading the sanitation facilities and educational infrastructure at the schools in and around our manufacturing units at Vashivali and Vapi. We also support the Lions Club, Thane in its efforts, by providing a solar energy panel system to the Adivasi Ashram School.
Udaan is a not-for-profit organisation that works with children from low-income communities in the field of education. We have partnered with Udaan, to contribute towards building a strong and holistic educational foundation that will make these children responsible, compassionate, and confident citizens of tomorrow.
The National Society for Equal Opportunities for the Handicapped (NASEOH) has been working towards rehabilitating people with disabilities since 1968, with the intent to integrate them into mainstream society.
Partnering with the NASEOH in its endeavour, we provide vocational training to people with disabilities by imparting computer training courses and providing mobility appliances.
In a bid to uplift the lives of the poor, underprivileged communities in rural Maharashtra, we’ve partnered with the Shabari Seva Samiti to provide basic education to preschoolers.
We do this through pre schools (balwadis), spread across six centres at Karjat and Murbad regions of Maharashtra. A balwadi is a rural pre-primary school run economically but scientifically and using as many educational aids as possible, prepared from locally available material
Namami Gange is a Govt. of India initiative aimed at the conservation of the Ganga River.
